Cloud IT Systems Administrators/Sr. Computer Operators for our facility located in Chevy Chase, Maryland, directly supporting our Microsoft customer at their facility. The successful candidate will be part of a team that supports a cloud computing enterprise environment and is part of a team supporting 24x7 operations (includes shift work).
Chevy Chase, MD Cloud IT Systems Administrator Jobs Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrates knowledge of the administration of Windows desktop, server OS, and MS Office.
- Is willing to work rotating shift requirements.
- Possesses strong reading/writing/typing skills.
- Is process and detailed-oriented.
- Is able to follow instructions, learn and execute against standard operating procedures quickly.
- Must have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Has the ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
- Is able to clear the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services background screen.
- Must pass the customer’s third-party cloud screening background check
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
The successful candidate will support the vision of federal, state and local agencies cloud computing services. The candidate will combine an understanding of core system components and an ability to provide secure virtual escort sessions for component teams in the environment. The candidate will be a member of a team that operates at the direction of technical guides, standard operating procedures, and recovery procedures written by development and engineering teams to maintain system health and support outage recovery activities.
This IT administrative position is expansive and additional responsibilities can be added.
